The full gallery of pics is <a href='http://www.doomaniac.com/stuff/?dir=Apartment%20Pics/' target='_blank'>here</a> on <a href='http://www.doomaniac.com' target='_blank'>doomaniac.com</a>.

My laptop. The thing sticking out on the left is my PCMCIA 802.11g wireless card. IRC + TV = "I'm not an addict, I can quit anytime I want1!11!1". :P

Aww! We can't see any of your SNES titles.

Try turning the flash off and laying them out on your floor or something.

But A Link to the Past is nice.

Nice pad. And a great collection of games. I miss having all my oldies. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

You should have held the camera below your face when you took the picture. There is no need to aim it by looking through the camera when you can see it in the mirror. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Anyway, cool shots. And <3 the laptop.

<Deleted> Didn't see the TV - Comp Topic!

OMG I HAVE A NES TOO!!!

As well as having more games then you for said system. (Ego Skill +1)

Of course, some of them are total shi... eh, junk. (many are simply cheap rip-offs of shows; the NES has about 400+ games which shows that quantity was a bit part of it. never the less, there are really good quality titles.)

[arn't you forgetting a playstation, as well?]

I notice that you have a much better sound system for your PC than for your actual entertainment center. Good man.

I was playing w/ that (HL2 E3 videos kick **** on a big tv fyi :P) cause I bought this today: <a href='http://www.aver.com/products/comptv_QuickPlay.shtml' target='_blank'>AverMedia QuickPlay</a>. It has its ups and downs.

The ups are its the cheapest VGA->TV Converter I've seen on the market, its pretty good quality, it can output as Composite, S-Video, or Component (RGB), and it supports up to 1280x1024 resolution.

The downs are it uses a USB cable as its only power source, so not only do you have to waste a USB cable on it, it also forgets its settings when you turn your PC off. The other down side is that the controls on it are somewhat limited in that there is only a button to pan left and pan up. If you want to go right, you have to pan all the way to the left till the image wraps around. dumb.

Unfortunately, video doesn't stream over a 54MB wireless connection as well as I'd like it to, and since it resets the settings every time you power down I won't be able to use it for the media box I was gonna set up in the living room (movies, MAME, etc) so I'll be taking mine back, but if you don't mind these two things and you're looking for a cheap vga converter I still recommend it as the output is very nice.

Ack now I remember how much of a monster the XBox controller was when I first held it....

But that NES is looking cool chilling in the corner though. Good job on the placement, do NOT move it. Ever.

    And I want that laptop. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I rather like the Duke though - it fits my large hands perfectly. Get the Controller S if ye olde Duke is too big.

On a side note DOOMeh, I notice you have Ninja Gaiden. Is it really as hard as I've read?

Yeah, just that one. How did you get such a big box Doom?

    ......that sentence sounds SO dirty.

    1) Yes, Ninja Gaiden is that hard. Very hard. I can definately say one of the 5 hardest games I've ever played. However, it still great. I love it for being hard. I wish it were a *LITTLE* easier, but still it pwns and I love it.

    2) That's the regular X-Box size.. unless MS went and made a smaller version similar to what Sony did w/ the PSX... ? I've only seen the big ones ever...

    3) No Halo because 1) I'm not a big Halo fan 2) not my X-Box

    4) Playstation 2 is coming, if you'll notice I even own 2 PS2 games (old roomate had a PS2 so I could use it whenever). I just gotta wait on cash.

I play online more than with a friend on console. But it's great talking back to each other, knowing you can't get banned. GameCube has Double Dash! it goes up to 16 players.
