    Few things:
    -Could be server.
    -Could be your connection.

I can't help with those 2. If some servers work and others don't...

But have no fear! Assuming its not a connection problem, Flayra has reworked the netcode for NS. PTs have reported little difference between playing on a 56k and a BBconnection.

This has happened to me when using D3D mode and nVidia cards. It might happen in other cases, I haven't checked.

God.... this problem gives me SUCH a Deja Vu feeling. I KNOW I read about something almost exactly like this somewhere before. I believe it was sound-card related in the other case, although I can't remember any specifics at all, unfortunately. If I remember anything else I'll post it, but just for the record you haven't changed any sound configuration things recently, have you?

edit: Also, are you getting any error messages in OGL mode or does it just freeze?

Could you post your PC specs so we can further help you? <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

I had this problem. It transpired to be a faulty NIC. IF you are using a cable modem, try using the USB connector instead of the ethernet.

Otherwise, try one of the excellent suggestions above.
