<div class="IPBDescription">Are they going to work like other mods?</div>i'm a TFC clanner, and i have custom configs like weapon switchers and reload scripts, so will i be able to customize ns controls in the same way?  will there still be "ec" and "em" autoexec commands that trigger class (um species for here) specific configs automatically?  oh and mainly, can you give a list of ns specific console commands, like weapon names or any other special stuff? (like example, in TFC to switch to rocket launcher the commande is tfc_weapon_rpg)

TY!! i can't wait for this to come out! oh and another little thing, does it come out midnight tonight, or sometime tomarrow? say tomarrow i can't aford to be up all night playing this with an 8am class <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    Weapon binds don't work, as this is considered an exploit.  Evolving has hotkeys, and same with upgrades, so you won't need to script those.

    Also, and this is pretty big: THERE IS NO PREVIOUS WEAPON SWITCH.

    NS doesn't have this for coding reasons, and whatnot, you will have to stick with next weapon. Everything's a lot more balanced this way, anywho.

    Cyanide, it does work... it just does an instant switch instead of showing the hud.

    Weapon control is very, very similar to Counter-strike -- you never have more than 4 weapons at a time (only 3 if you're a marine), and they're all in different weapon slots.  So hud_fastswitch 1 is really all you need, since no matter what weapon you want to select you just need to push a single key.

    I do know that some of our CS clan testers from FoR have made aliases and scripts to do various things. It should work just like any other mod.

    Not being a playtester, but playing on the HL engine for years I can say that alias and binds will most likely work.

    Using binds and aliases are not an exploit. bind "F5" "+screenshot" is not an exploit. Bind "MOUSE3" "slot1" is not an exploit.
