That last one reminds me of Isla Nublar. Nice work.

pretty good for a beginner. You'll see that as you get better renders will usually take at least 8h, I think my longest was around 20. But that's using the registered version at pretty high resolution. I would suggest you use a few more layers for the rockand grass to add a little more depth.

wow... thx for all the kind words! i may try photoshopping some of the ones that are quite as good to make em more eye catching, not the last one tho. seems you guys like it as it is.

btw, the last one was made with help of World Machine. Maybe i should use it more often?

good renderings but.
terragen is not new and taking a look at actual game engines like cryengine we soon see such realtime, full of trees and animals.

hmm, cry engine? is that a part of far cry im guessing. i mya have to try it out, the game is pretty ill have to admit. welli can turn these into OBJ files and put them into like bryce or something and add trees/ skulkd

here we go, my first movie. throught eh many many exports/ imports from one program to anohter its lost alot of its original quality. what can you expect from a 565 mb video to a 3 mb video with background music (by the one and only Dream Theater )

alright i cant upload avi's so i used yahoo briefcase. i have no idea how much bandwith they allow so get it while it lasts...

render time: 4.5 hours

edit: Save file as then open in Divx! Thank You.

In the first post, last pic. The water is dark purple but if you look in the top left its really pink, try rendering another purple/pink darker sky.

yeah, thats cuz it was the first pic i ever made with the program. wasnt too good with atmospheres.
