    The hive is there to make it an ns map, it requires one.

    The whole MvM is done with an entity, i forgot the name, but its near the light_environment, theres only team one and two, just change them to alien's to make it AvA.

    i think that answers the questions

    (ps, i compiled and tested the map, and for some reason i cant spawn.. umm i'm not sure whats up with this.)

    amxx s still mroe or less beta and a large number of existing plugins do not exist for amxx hence why a lot of servers including mine cant switch to amxx for the time being.

    I have a sgugestion for the MvM why not make team 1 auto assigned to a server side .mdl for the map included in the d/l that makes marine1 Red and marine2 Blue, or w/e color? Becuz in game there is already 2 marines 1 white 1 black.Will this work? because i know there is a command to change your skin color but can you automatically assign this?

    just input keep up the work gj.

    edit: Oh, and i was in a listen server of "wascally wabbit"'s, and he was working on a metamod plugin that does it, and it seemed to work real well. Didn't inflate your gun with the glow either... (if you know what i mean)

    Another upside to MvM mapping is that we will be able to have more outside areas, since there are no skulks to sit on the sky - only jetpackers (and they can't really sit on the sky <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ).

    But if u need to glow in an AvA map,what about Lurking in dark corners?
    What about Cloaking ?
    Then it will make no sens at all to choose that,also i get the image in an AvA map all they do is running straight to the Enemy Hive,and biteing it quickly to death,will all the games end up like one team is all over its hive,trying to kill all the other skulks on it?

    The only suggestion that seams logical in the Marine vs Marine dilemma is to make one team blue, one green, etc (by this i means armour skins, etc.).

    Also other differences should be included such as the addition of a flamethrower for one team or just a distinctive weapon or set of abilities. Maybe a heavy turret for one team, and the other gets the ability to use the scope on their lmg's.

    i dont know the exact details, but modifications could also be made to the aliens by having the Kharaa and another alien team. Again with slight difference (another alien class instead of the lerk or fade perhaps).
    But if there were to another class, maybe a projectile shooter would be adequate.

    i am interested to know what the rest of the NS community think of the Same vs Same dilemma...

    This is a very experimental version of MvM for adminmod. It doesn't do per team/hive/object glowing thanks to AM's fairly dumb api. It just assigns glow colors based on team. Well, here you go... make sure to follow instructions on that page in order for me to be able to fix it up appropriately.

    Did you not read other posts? This isn't an official thing, there is no way a dev (Flayra) will make a flamethrower or heavy turret for it, not to mention the fact that, well, there is no way you can have a heavy turret in combat since you can't build. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Ok, "Hi!" uh... i checked your .rmf (as i had a feeling I should since I found out the system) and I noticed a few odd things, first off...

    You don't need a hive, AT all! I don't know how you got to that cunclution, I thought I had explained teh way to do it fairly clearly a while ago, but none the less, it's not needed, it'll work all the same without a hive
    second, team 2's armories, STAY team 2, if not, the team can destroy them and not weld them the only thing NEEDED to be team 3 is the CC.

    I'd post a .rmf myself, but i'd need to redo my map as ive done a lot of testing to fix that damn CC bug...

    So "hi!" if you could, good job but get ride of the hive and set the armories to team 2, to save from confusion. thanks. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
