<div class="IPBDescription">Truely a sad thing when a child dies!</div> For anyone in and around Toronto, a sad truth was realized yesterday.
A small 9 year old girl who was abducted back in October was found dead.
This Little girl's abduction fueled a huge search and was even featured on AMW.
Her death hurts us all.

What's makes this child's death so much sadder then any other child?

This happens quite a lot, but I don't see a post for every damn kidnapped kid who ended up dead on here.

True, it's sad, but why choose this one out of all the others that are very similar?
Why not make one whole post for ALL the children that this has happened too?

    Sorry for sounding like an ****, but I wanted to release that. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Add this one to the 50 thousand kids who die in africa every week. My condolences to the friends and family, but I can't grieve any more for this child than any other child who dies anywhere else in the world. Kids die, its just something that happens.

Oh, and crib-death babies. And harlequin babies... THOSE parents need the prayers, honestly. Ever see a kid with skin like polyurethane, that doesn't grow with the baby? They tend to live very short, pain-filled lives.

My whole point of this was that, THIS kinda thing doesn't happen much in Canada, maybe it does in alot of other places but things like this arnt so common in Toronto.

Its a Sad thing and anyone who is from Canada would sure as hell give a damn about this child, because it was a real shocker.

I know that kids die everyday all over the place but in Canada it doesn't happen in this fassion much. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Good for you, should we be proud of Canada now because they had a child killing reported on the news? lol

I hate to rock your perfect little lives but this stuff happens all the time. Happened to two little girls in my country last year and it will keep happening because there are some seriously messed up people in the world. Fell bad for them yes but just accept it because it happens ALL the time.

If you can't spend a moment to commemorate the end of an innocent life just because there's so many others of similiar or worse fate, I'm truly sorry for you.

Deciding to ignore a tragedy because it's just one in a million won't help the other 999.999 cases, either.

Majin, you gotta understand that Toronto is no longer what it used to be. There has been other child kidnappings 'round here, this one is just much much more publicized. Its sad, yes, but dont get too caught up in the media. I just hate it when they use something like this to sell papers and stuff :/

btw guys, its kidnap from room -> killed -> chopped into pieces. There are worse, but it is pretty bad. Never realized how cynical most of ye are...

But I did spend a moment! I accepted it and moved on. What am I supposed to do? Does that make me a bad person? It just disturbs me how people are so surprised by these kind of events.

I just think that's funny, lol. Angered by other peoples thoughts and opinions and by the way they decide to live their life..

Death happens people, get over it. You'll all going to die too. Some die old, some die young. Some in better ways in other and some in worse ways IE this girl.

It's best just to get over it because it really has nothing to do with us because we aren't related, but none the less the person must be caught and punished to the full extent of the law.

Murders/kidnappings happen occssionly, but it isn't like you are seeing every single on on the media, this one just happened to be choosen. Same ol "quiet town" and "nobody would of expected it" thing goes on too much.

Anyways ya, so how about those child rapist with their "magic ranches?"

I was just trying to point out that the high amount of them doesn't meager the tragedy behind such cases, and that ignoring them on the basis of their frequency is no solution.

I wan't angered in any way, although telling me that my opinion is 'funny, lol' is a good way of getting me there.

<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Murders/kidnappings happen occssionly, but it isn't like you are seeing every single on on the media, this one just happened to be choosen. I agree, but the way the media portrayed the incident doesn't change a thing about it. It remains tragic, and thus, I find it appropriate to show some respect, not because I assume this the only such case, but because I know it isn't, and because commemorating the tragedy of this little girls death is the closest I'll ever get to doing justice to those who don't make it on the frontpages.

If you can't accept <i>that</i>, well, as I said, I'm sorry for you. Not mad, not angered, just sad.

Hey I felt remorse for the girl. Needless to say it didn't last long, but at least I felt some remorse.

Hmm, angered wasn't quite the right word I wanted, but I just tossed it in there anyways to save me some lazy time, haha.

And you really shouldn't feel sad for another person. Be thankful that you are alive and not in that person's shoes.
