I had an awesome Christmas experience today.

My 17 year old nephew got Guitar Hero 2 from my mom (his grandma) and he was bragging how he beat the first game on Expert w/ a controller.


So my dad plays against him on Versus, both of them on easy.

My dad kicked his ###### with a 4x multiplier and triple the score. It was hilarious to see my nephew cope with being owned by his grandpa at a video game. :D

    I actually got my dad to play Guitar Hero II as well, because he was all like "Man, I remember when this song came out while I was in high school! I know it like the back of my hand!" and then he would proceed to...actually, play pretty well on Easy. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />

    Pah, Guitar Heroes is easy with a controller. All the difficulty comes in adapting what you see on the screen to your fingers along the guitar neck. with a controller, all you're doing is translating what you see on screen, to the right button on the pad. Once you get which buttons do what, then you're laughing all the way home. At least with the guitar, you're actually moving your hand up and down the neck

    Friend and I are playing it trying to beat all the songs on hard think we have 9 left. I am starting to suck on the guitar part so he does all the work now. I like my bass anyways.

    Today dad and I got past Freebird in coop mode, so now we've finished all the regular career songs. :D
    The final unlockable bass is kinda neat.
