In what sense does someone running off alone constitute teamwork?
Nevermind, I see the point you're trying to make, but its wrong IMO.

I think you're thinking of the version where they added a skulk bite knockback that was so rediculous that a marine who jumped when bit would fly 100ft away from the skulk that attacked him.

No, he is talking about 1.04 where marines could bunnyhop in general. You did not need to raise levitation level in order to hop. And you also hopped faster than a skulk could walk.

Disclaimer: my memory is sometimes not that good, so some backup would be nice.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

nope that is 2.0 it was pretty bad too.
maybe you just didnt see any on the servers you frequented, i guess it could be that it was pretty rare since everyone started as a newbie in 1.04 and that most people considered it to be lame.

Perhaps that was it. We had a pretty strong anti-lame attitude on the server I frequented.

a lone marine can distract the aliens and give the rest of the marine team time to cap and take control of the map. seems much more teamwork oriented than cluster######ing together with 10 other marines and getting gassed and torpedoed by 1 skulk.
