No, he is talking about 1.04 where marines could bunnyhop in general. You did not need to raise levitation level in order to hop. And you also hopped faster than a skulk could walk.

a lone marine can distract the aliens and give the rest of the marine team time to cap and take control of the map. seems much more teamwork oriented than cluster######ing together with 10 other marines and getting gassed and torpedoed by 1 skulk.
