Me.
And EA really seems to be doing everything right with this one. They've been talking directly to the community via messageboards, and promised long-term support in the form of patches and tournaments.
That bassically said that there overall goal is to get this game into major gaming tournments, and make it a major competetive game. (Looks like there aiming for starcraft)
I have no doubt that this game will kick everyone in the pants, and we will all smile and say "Thank You" when it does.
Supreme Commander > C&C3. Just seems like it's actually trying to be innovative, rather then the same gameplay made prettier. Then again, nothing has been said about C&C3's gameplay, but it's EA, 'nuff said really
I'm certainly ready for more C&C. Supreme Commander is going to fill my strategy needs, and Company of Heroes is good for a different-but-not-too-different RTS. C&C, though, is a classic, and I can always get more of that.
That may be because I never played Generals, which apparently was either good or bad depending on who you talk to.

Generals; as it's own game was great.
The problem was; it didnt really fit into the C&C universe. It was so radically different from the Red Alert and Tiberium Universes, both in gameplay and story-wise, that most of the hardcore C&C community looked at it and went "We were ready for C&C3 (They were calling it Tiberium Twilight at the time) and we get....this near future-"Ripped from the headlines" crap?"
I liked it, but definetely preffered the RA/Tiberium Uni's.
I hope they make Red Alert 3!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> I love that one.
Oh, and hell yes I'll be picking this up. Also Supreme Commander more than likely.
I <i>really</i> hope there's a decent script and decent actors in the cutscenes, this time. That was one of the things I loved about the original, and was sorely lacking in Tiberian Sun.

Generals was entertaining but CC3 looks to kick some ######. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/asrifle.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::asrifle::" border="0" alt="asrifle.gif" />

So, Command and Conquer 3. Who's excited? I'm excited that it's Generals, for a start.
