This is a concept sketch for a map I'm thinking of making for NS:Source.

    Not bad,
    you coud try to make the building look less slapped on by maybe adding a bit of cliff to the edges of it therefore making it look "burried" into the wall

    How does it look like hera? It has a big landing bay in a cliffside, woopde. Hera has glass tunnels, extra base extruding w/ smoking vents, and the station name on the outside wall. Something with a type of 'airstrip' would be the same in just about any space base thats under ground, bit landing pad with door. :o

    Focus on the atmosphere of it, cause that's why I threw it together, and that's a rough idea of what I'm going to be shooting for. The physical specifics of the facility aren't anything specific yet.

    Yeah, I'm not very experienced at doing things from scratch in photoshop, and I was doing this with a flaky mouse at 4 AM. I just thought I'd put it out there as a preview of things (hopefully) to come. Normally I start any digital art I'm doing with a vector image in corel draw, then bring that into photoshop and do what needs doing, but that takes too long, and I was too excited. smile-fix.gif I just wanted to capture the lighting for the outside that I was envisioning.
