The problem with just trying to find female NS players in game is it's well... just hard to tell. Even with a mic, some younger players just have high pitched voices.

There's a fair few, I suggest you go check out the post your picture thread down in the off topic forum.

Yeah the ones I know of are Princess, Athena, SheenaYanai and Geminosity.

I have proof for everyone but Gem (heard their voice/seen the pics [trust me that this isn't just a pubescent 15 year old talking when I say Athena is hawt {Zunni fyi the mispelling is not to be leet but to put emphasis on the 'heat' that emanates from her purrfek body}]).

shes german...and plays CS most of the time ^^
but sometimes she plays ns for a funclan too...

and there is Mia...from arteria...who is female too, and plays ns...but i think she started to play 1 or 2 moths ago.

Um.. I never stopped playing NS, except for a few months pre/during 2.0x <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

I play primarily on OldF's servers, occasionally on FR31NS. I'm from California, and I've been in Syko Kittenz, Green Panthers, and currently I'm multiclanning (primarly FFT, and playing in CAL with ]PAI[ ).

According to this months PCG (PC Gamer) UK, girls don’t like games with skill! All this fast paced action and simple "just kill things" logic is too much for the average girl and they cant take it! Bless em...

Was an interesting article though... Shes says something like, women dont think the way we men do and need something different in games, cutting out more manual skill needed to play and having more context and details to games where theres true freedom and thinking involved in playing.

So men like challenges like fighting and shooting (manual stuff as she says).
Women like puzzles and depth that will challenge their mind (well, another part of it).

Or something, dunno really. Would be good if some proper research was done on what the average woman/girl would want out of an interactive experiance like gaming, seems as they hate it so much as it is.

todd, let's just let the people who are being talked about decide if they want to be talked about. For instance, if the "a/s/l" spam they receive in-game goes up in the near future...
