The "guardian" was protecting Theslan. Theslan is dead. How can Theslan be dead if the "guardian" was protecting him? Theslan was under the "guardians" protection. Theslan is dead. The "guardian" was fake.
And Theslan was in contact with the psychic as well - or rather someone who claimed to be the psychic. Someone who confirmed that im lost was the wizard - if that's who he was. Fool me once - fool me twice?
The odd, sneaky feeling that I'm getting here is that the wolves are trying to "take over" the human roles in this game, feeding us false success stories until it is too late. The "guardian," through Theslan, told us that im lost might be the wizard, causing us to vote im lost off. The "psychic," through Theslan, confirmed that im lost was indeed the wizard - does the psychic know this? See below, please. At any rate, the "psychic" confirmed the "guardians" story - but the "guardian" turned out to be fake. I'm not trusting this "psychic," and I suspect that Theslan has been played.
I request a rule clarification:
The rules for the current game state the following: "If the Seer looks at the Wizard he will be told the Wizard is a wolf." Does this count for the psychic too? Is the psychic told that there are four "wolves" at the beginning of the game, and is that number reduced by one if the wizard is killed? Or is the wizard untraceable for the psychic? Is the psychic initially told that there are three wolves, and no change to that number is made if the wizard dies?
Please clarify, this could be of importance. Leave the clarification to Petco though, his word is the only one that counts.

To be honest, the wolves are not good enough to do that. First of all, the guardian would have to be a wolf (Your argument about him being fake is bogus, from what i have been told). The psychic would also have to be a wolf, as would the 'seer' that briefly popped up in Theslans logs.
In TWG IV, i nearly lost us the game by being too paranoid, and i won't make that same mistake again. This could all be a wolf plot, but would the wolves put all their eggs in one basket and give their names to Theslan? I'm pretty sure that at least one person now knows the names of Theslan's contacts, so that would be a death sentence for the wolves if the special roles were indeed fake.
I'm not sure who to vote on yet, so i am going to hold off. Theslan gave us a good start to the game, and the worst thing we could do is ruin it by going back to 'random' votes.

Theslan wouldn't be likly to announce the fact that he would have been guarded either right? I mean if he said he was going to be guarded last night, then maybe he thought he would throw the wolves vote off of him?
Well, assuming that everything is as Theslan and TheMuffinMan said, this at least removes the incriminating evidence against the guardian. With Theslan dead and no contact person stepping forward, we're probably expected to follow whoever is the next one to claim to have been contacted by the guardian. I don't like it, but given the lack of information I have no choice for the moment.
I know that i said i was going to hold my vote, but looking back on the thread gave me an idea. It's nothing more than a hunch, but a hunch is still more than nothing
I'm voting for Mouse for two reasons: First of all, i'm going to assume that im lost was the wizard. He may not have been, but we have no other leads to go on. Several people tried to vote off BadKarma, which i can understand. I myself had quite a few doubts in Theslans logic, which is why i did not vote for im lost. However, Mouse put in a very suspicious vote for BadKarma, and i cannot ignore that:

QUOTE

Voting for BadKarma, because he isn't acting like a wolf. Which is what a good wolf would be doing. That and I'm at my parents' place this weekend, don't have much time to read the thread.

This makes little sense to me, and seems more like an attempt to bandwagon BadKarma than anyone else. As a few other guys have mentioned, Gwahir did the same thing. I'm going to have to step up and defend him here, as he has acted completely human in all of this. I know that a wolf isn't going to try and act like a wolf, but Mouse is a damn sight more suspicious than Gwahir. I've also chatted with a few people who have defended him, and i tend to agree with them.
Second, and this is a rather pathetic point, he is quite inactive. I know that he is at his parents place for the weekend, which is a fair excuse. We are past the stage where we should be voting based on game activities, but the chances are still high that we will be killing a human tonight. In that case, i would rather kill a suspicious and rather inactive (for the moment, at least) one than a more active, less suspicious person.
After having read over the log for the convo between Gwahir and Thensal that Planetkiller sent me. I have to decided for the time being to switch my vote to Mouse. I have more reason to suspect him now than anyone else atm is seems.
To be fair, Mouse always plays like this. Of course, getting voted off because of a simple thing like this is pretty crazy. He'd pretty much win the craziness contest then, and we can't have that. I am the craziest one here, so I need Mouse alive, if only so I can pwn him.
Any word on the rule clarification I asked for, Petco? I'd like to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

Trust me though, I'll probably end up changing my vote by the end of the day.

I'm voting for Mouse for two reasons:
First of all, i'm going to assume that im lost was the wizard.

Any word on the rule clarification I asked for, Petco? I'd like to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

Of course, but we don't really have much to go on If anything else comes up, i'll be the first to change my vote. I just feel like voting early on in the day for once, and Mouse is the only person other than Gwahir (who i trust a lot more than mouse for several reasons) that is in the least bit suspicious. Trust me though, I'll probably end up changing my vote by the end of the day.
Gwahir - 1 (Freak83)
Nurot - 1 (Gwahir)
Mouse - 5 (Planetkiller, Mouse, Fatal Error, TheMuffinMan, Nurot)
When did posting the vote counts stop being the host's responsibility? I remember being hissed at for not posting updates at five in the morning. >_>
