<div class="IPBDescription">Needs a review~</div> Basically it's about time I upgraded this piece of trash so here's my plan. I'll still be using my 5.1 sound card, ati 9500 vid card (Which I'll be overclocking using a new zalman vga fan) and current HD's, but this is about it:

Is there anything I missed? I couldn't find the motherboard .pdf to make sure of specifics but it should all fit together unless I messed up badly. The RAM is DDR-SDRAM, PC3200. The mobo/cpu are s939.

And yes, I know the vid card could use a upgrade, I just don't have the funding right now.

For the most part it looks good.

Running solely on conversion rates, some parts you could get a little cheaper in the states, but since that isn't an option, I'll assume its all good prices <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I would go with a 2x512MB pack instead of a single 1GB stick, merely because I'm sure you want to run your ram dual channel <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Other than that corsair makes great stuff.

Very good choice on the thermal compound, its gotten great reviews and it deserves em, comes with enough to do all your cpus and gpus on your next 10 computers, and after burn in, is extremely hard to beat.

I'll look at the fans, since I really don't know now <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> but for the most part zalman makes excellent quality stuff.

[EDIT] on second gander, the GPU cooler seems excellent, gets good reviews, and with the fan is basically capable of cooling what you want, no problem. Maybe check out this site though, it seems the installation is rather complex...

From what I can find on the CPU cooler, it performs well but is heavy (duh, its solid copper....). So I guess I wouldn't use this in an easy-to-transport machine, but its fine for a desktop.

The power supply seems like an excellent choice, said to give stable and clean power, as well as a nifty little watt meter.

So yea, good choices.
