i think you ant to install custommaps, right?

To get them working they have to be placed in the right folder of your ns directory.
most mappers pack their maps that way that you can just unzip the package in your mai ns directory and all subdirectorys will fit.
This is usually be found @
X:\...\steam\steamaps\yourmail@domain.xx\half-life\ns
