Wow, did this thread take a major dump overnight. Before I get it back on track, allow me to clarify a couple of posts

The Home Depot is the world's largest home improvement retailer and second largest retailer in the United States, behind Walmart.

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed - I gave them 2 years of my life and they're a terrific company to work for. I also own a small piece of HD. Know that "hardware store" is grossly innacurate ... home improvement warehouse is a much better description.

Yuck! Margaritas are not only the most popular way that tequila is consumed, they are also one of the most popular drinks consumed at home.

But what is this thread but personal opinion anyways ...

Real men drink scotch, high dollar aged scotch...

There was little shuffling among the Top 10 retailers, with Arkansas-based Wal-Mart heading the list again as the nation's largest retailer with 2000 sales of $193.3 billion, a 15.9 percent increase over the previous year. However, Wal-Mart eased its rapid-fire pace of new store openings from a 13.5 percent increase in 1999 to a 4.9 percent increase in 2000.

Food retailer Kroger retained its #2 position by growing its chain strength +5.0 percent through acquisitions of small local chains and store clusters sold off by regional competitors. Home Depot moved up to #3 with stepped up offerings in carpet and major appliances, forcing Sears, Roebuck and Company to drop a notch to #4.

I think the beatles would have been a more ingenious choice. I'm actually quite bored with this thread by now. All these tangents kill the fun - along with the fact NO ONE decides to use creative links to new pictures.

OMG, a bigger submarine - how ingenious, a 6 year old could have thought of that.
OMG, a bigger gun - a monkey could have done it.
OMG, a nuclear bomb - a demented US general could have imagined it.

But now, we'll go in another circle and it will be a torpedo, or an AEGIS cruiser or a bigger submarine or a space ship "submarine of the sky" or something as easily predictable...
