for real. 3 hrs is ridiculous for a warrior. maybe for a mage who's going the hell route and spent the first point on mp regen so he can max mp increase and is then stuck on green snails 'till lvl 13 or whatever it is when he finally gets a magic attack.

Personally, I found killing slimes and snails slow as hell. During my teens, I went after green and orange mushies. In my 20s I went after horned and undead mushies.
bah I WANT to get to 30, but every time I sign on, I remember that I have thousands of mushrooms to kill before I get to 27, and probably tens of thousands before I get to 30... and I just lose the will <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
After the 28'th ill powerlevel and PQ with u guys. Just keep the grind up till then ^^, if you are lvl 27 it should take max 5 days of playing an hour or 2 to get to 30.

The fame system in maple is one of those ideas that probably sounded ok on paper until you actually take in to account the stupidity and greed of your average "OMG FREE MMO GAME!!1!11" player :p

Well, I think fame actually does have a meaning currently. certain items require certain fame to weild, whether swords or robes or whatever, i believe there are fame limits. but don't quote me on that.

Btw, <b>Steel</b>, I reached lvl 25, what stuff did you need to lend/give to me? and clothes, etc? so I know if I don't need to buy a whole new lvl 25 set equipment.

Geez, i'm a noob. My first 2 PQ experiences sucked. Mainly because I had no idea what was going on, and our leader died at the end both times. Only 1 guy was remotely experienced.

I need powerlevelling to at least Lv 25 Yes I need to exaggerate. I'm not gonna switch claws at all until I hit 25. By that time I will need 30 Proc. Wood, 3 Steel Plates, and some other stuff. The only things I have left to collect are the wood (14 atm) and 1 Steel Plate.
And where did everyone go? Don't tell me GunZ ate you all....

I don't know about the rest of them, but i sort of burned out after the ossy adventure, no idea why. however, i do know that i will be coming back to playing slowly, i just have to take it slow for a bit y'know, grind whenever i feel like it (which is about 10% a day -_-)
10% a day? that'll take forever to get anywhere. What gets me through the grind is that every once in a while I find some new and interesting aspect of the game that I didn't know about/ think about. For instance thursday night i found a program that allows me to emulate a keyboard on my joystick, Which basically lets me play maplestory with my playstation controller. It actually feels like a proper platformer now. WAY more fun then a dumb keyboard. Also the comp. doesn't beep at me for button mashing the controller.

Meh, past the dolldrums of 30's and you will be hitting monsters with 120+ exp, thats great XP and you will be 70 in no time... <_<
