This is for those who remember about a month ago what i was going through...
This wasnt easy to do, so please no negitive comments...
I know i misspelled a few things, im tired and its late.
So moving to GA wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Well it was one of the hardest if you think about it.
It all starts mid March, way back, since now its mid May… Anyway, things back in Cali went okay when I was still living with my mom. Internet was hooked up, computer ran, had friends… So when I packed up and left for my dads house that’s when things started to go bad. It wasn’t easy leaving my mom, though I got over it pretty fast. Sounds mean but it wasn’t the easiest trying to live with my mom, that’s one of the reasons I decided to leave. Anyway back to the move… I get to my dads house and things start off pretty good. My sisters weren’t finished packing there rooms, but I knew it was going to be close with them, they wait for the last second of the last minuet to get something done. It was Monday when the moving company came, stopped by at like 9am, they were supposed to finish packing things and get ready for the move the next day. Well that’s when things started to go bad… Really really bad… See my dads company was supposed to pay for the movers, you know since “There the reason why we moved to GA” (Which there not the only reason, high house price’s in CA is another reason.) Well they called and said that the movers need to stop that they haven’t been approved by the Head Personal… Well lets just say my dad had to get a new phone…
That’s not all, oh no, im just getting started… A few days goes by and on Friday we get word that were going to get a lump sum of 5,000 to pay for the move… My dad once again broke the phone… That’s two, lets keep a tab on that why don’t we. So on Monday we go to get a U-Haul, which wouldn’t really help since weve got more stuff than they can hold, well that and the cost would be more that what was given, and dad didn’t have any more money to spend, since, well, he was told that the movers was a sure thing, so he went out andd bought a new Dodge Cummins Turbo; Dually; Lerime; basiclly it was the Cadillac of Trucks(Sticker=$42,000; Price payed=$33,000 Truck-a-thon) Anyway back to the move again, we couldn’t afford to move… So dad got on the new phone that he got from work… His boss said that hed talk to the Head Personal. So on Friday, after waiting for 3-4 days we get word… They pay for the move if we kept the cost low, meaning we needed to sell my moms car, haul my dads tool boxes, boxes, aka more than one (Over 2 tones of Tools!) So we start finishing the packing our selves when we get a call again. This time it’s the insurance for the house we were going to get… Well they said that the house needed some work and a new roof, and that they wouldn’t insure it unless it had one. The previous owner had died, so I don’t think he’d be able to put one on, and the bank wouldn’t pay for it, so we had to, that’s 15-20 grand for roofing/fixing. We work a deal with the financing people and insurance to give us 60 days to fix what was needed to move in.
So now were on the road and on our way to GA, the moving company came and things went by okay… We left on Wed May 22, 2005. Along the way we stop by my sisters house, a sister of mine that I’ve never seen till Saturday that same week. And on Sunday we get to GA… Hurray Were in GA. On Monday we go by the house we were going to get. Huge, I mean huge, 3200 sq ft on a 1.35 acre lot. But things on the house go from bad to worse. And I mean worse. If anyone has bought a house before would know that to buy a older house it needs to be appraised. Well, When it was appraised it was so low my dad went through another cell phone. The house was on the Market for $116,000 (Foreclosure) and my dad put an offer in at $109,900. The appraiser came back with just $100,000, and we couldn’t make the difference. So we said no, that guy needs to do it over. It’s a huge house, and nothing was wrong with it, and I mean nothing… Okay so it could use a little paint in the living room, but that’s because the guy was fixing it up when he died… A few other appraisers appraised the house at $150,000, so my dad got real **** off. A real nice house was being low balled by some mean bastered… Please excuse my language. He reappraised the house for $113,000 the second time, so my dad said screw it, well just pay the difference… Then before we could do anything the insurance called again, the deal we had wasn’t going to fly… So **** beyond belief my dad not only broke the cell phone but it went flying so far away we never found all the pieces… We called the realtor and went to go and look at some other houses… After looking at houses all day we found the perfect one. A Tri-level House, (aka single/two story hosue with three levels) About 3 feet underground is my room, my exercise room (Wight room; solo/Bow-flex/tredmill), my bath room and the laundry/tool room. The middle level has the kitchen/den/living room/dinning room/entrence room/back patio. The upper level about 10 feet above ground is where the three other bedrooms are, my two sisters rooms and my parents room. Now my bedroom and the master bedroom are the same size except the fact they have a outside patio off one side. So my rooms is freaking BIG!!! Its got a King Size Bed, Huge/Larger than normal computer desk, built in shelves, and more than enough room to put 2 lay-z-boys for my T.V.
But moving into this house wasn’t going to be easy either. We had a one week closing date. Put an offer in on Friday morning, Friday Evening we got the call that they’d take the offer. The closing date was set for the following Thursday. HAHAHHA, that was funny, my dad actually put in a bet with the realtor that for a $100 bucks it wouldn’t close. On Monday dad came home with the hundred bucks, its against the law for a bet like that to happen, so it was changed if it closed dad would treat him and his wife to dinner, if it didn’t mark, the realtor, would take us out to dinner. Well on wed the appraising company came out, it was a different guy, but the same company. So something bad was bound to happen, which it did. When the guy did the paper work he marked the house as a commercial property, and it was residential. So they had to do it all over. That took them until Friday. And that’s not the worst of it, they don’t have escrow here in GA like in CA, they deal with Lawyers. So we had to have an oppointment to meet with a lawyer to close the house, but Friday the Laywer was all booked up, so we had to wait till Wed of the next week to go in and close. And this whole time were living in a Holiday Inn here in Waycross GA. And at 70 bucks a night 3 weeks got to be real expensive…
Of course I cant really explain how it really was, but that’s a brief overview of how it was for me, not easy, not fun, and really stressful… More did happen, but it would be another page or two to write, and im tired of typing, took me about 1 hour to do this, and now its 11:30, ive been up since 6, whice is 3 where I came from, and I was tested for sleep problems… More on that later… So I guess I was homeless for just about a month… And without my computer longer than that since I moved in with my dad a week before we left… So ya, moving to GA would count as the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

I call that risky.
It was tha house that didnt qualify for us, not the other way around... And we were going to be homeless anyway, he put in his two week notice at the place he was before(apartment) and the place was already going to be rented out... We left 2 days before teh other people started to move in. Meaning in two days if we had left for GA or not we'd be homeless.
