Have a mole tearing up your yard? A good insecticide properly applied will kill the grubs etc., leaving the mole foodless. kill the food source, solve the problem.

    Of course, your neighbors who inherit the devil won't be to happy with you.... ... .. . <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Stand by for more, as I prepare to blast a Honda lawnmower that Home Depot sells, having full knowledge that said mower has a defect known and published by American Honda. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />

i have a few questions depot old buddy..

1, in my new flat, there is a 'dodgy' window the main 3 windows in the living room all one big windowframe.. 2 are double glazed and for some reason, the last one isnt, but along with that it wont shut right, it seems to be sticking at the bottom.. and so basically ###### all point having double glazing, cos the 3rd unglazed one, not only has a draught, but practically visible holes to the outside, cos it wont shut properly, any ideas how to fix this? or is it a case of take a chisel to the frame?

2, my wiring for my modem, its normal cat5 cabling lengthing around.. 16 metres from hub > pc. now, pc is in the corner of a room, but i cna ninja it around the radiator, but getting it from there to here is th eproblem, should i run it under the doors and try and get it under the door rails, or run if over the top of the doorframe?

3, this is a random one, my shower is, THE most sensitive thing, like turning the cold more then 0.5 cm, can change it from scalding hot, to an icy breeze.. its a regular pressure shower thing, and as far as i know, it shouldnt be that sensitive... any ideas?

these are stupid questions maybe, i only recently moved into my own place.. and just a few things im confuddled about, im not the most domesticated guy ever.

Wow Moquiao, sorry I missed your post man. You still need help?

I've been battling ground moles for 2 years now. All of the home remedies failed, and they are ruining my lawn. Research indicates if you remove their foodsource they'll go elsewhere, so last year I applied an insecticide... didn't seem to work that well.

Last week pest control stopped by and gave me an estimate: $120.00 to fumigate the mole tunnels, and another $60.00 to apply an insecticide... NOT! I went to Home Depot and bought a bag of insecticide, applied it with a rotary spreader, thoroughly watered it in, and WALLAH! Or so I thought...

The lawn seems to be mole-free, but a damp area in my backyard over by the banana trees and confederate jasmine bushes was insecticide free, being it's thick with leaves on the ground and difficult to clean out. Yesterday I saw activity in the area, so I'm guessing the earthworms (moles favorite food) and the grubs all headed to that small untreated area when I put the insecticide down, and the moles followed.

In two weeks I'll put it down again, except this time I'll cover my yard fence to fence (after I clean that part out).

    1. Are these wooden windows? If so get a bar of soap and, with the window/s open fully, run it up and down the channels to lubricate them. This method also works well for lubricating sticky drawers.

    2. Whether you go over or under the door, is the remainder of the cable going to be visible (as in not buried under carpet or behind baseboard molding)? If it's going to be visible elsewhere I'd run it over the door. If it was me, I'd prefer it be hidden, so I'd go under the door rails or even under the floor (assuming you can get underneath!).

    3. That is really bizarre. Is the faucet stiff, or relatively free?

Pictars would really help here, especially for 1 and 2. I can understand if that's not possible though.
