I'm not at my own computer right now, but I have about 10 things, 6 of which are forums I believe, and the rest are for email, except for one that's for my netrulon site that currently doesn't work.

Looking at yours, there's no reason to have links to dictionary.com or google.com. The search bar on the right side will do a direct search for you, and if you want to go to their main sites, just leave the field blank and press enter (having a button for a new tab or using the shortcut command works well for this).

To expand on what im lost said, you can also use quicksearches instead of going to google or dictionary.com.

For example, when I type "dict troll" into my address bar (without the quotes), it will take me to the dictionary.com entry for troll. I use "g troll" to search google. Firefox comes with the "dict" quicksearch and the "google" quicksearch by default (I changed my google quicksearch to just use the letter g, instead of the whole word), along with a few others. I also have a "wiki troll" quicksearch to search wikipedia for troll.

Is there any way to REMOVE some of those search engines? I only want google and dictionary.com really.

    ...

    & Wikipedia.

I just go into my searchplugins folder and remove the stuff related to the search engine.
the .src and .gif or .png file with it. and restart the brower.

As to my bookmarks list...ooh, there's a good bit...don't have them display on the little bookmark bar in FireFox, but still quite a few.

    You know what's fun?

Typing in something random in the address bar, having firefox automagically google search it and send you to the first result.

I typed in "fairenough" and got a satirical comedy site based on the Tabacco industry done by those people from truth.com or whatever.

Typing in "magic" gets me the M:TG website.

    Bookmarks --> Manage Bookmarks
    Expand Quick Searches
    Right Click on Google Quicksearch
    Click Properties
Change Keyword from "google" to "g" (without the quotes).

You can also make new quicksearches. For example, if you want a Wikipedia quicksearch, do this:

    Goto Google.
    Click Advanced Search.
Under domain, type "en.wikipedia.org" (without the quotes; use en.wikipedia.org instead of www.wikipedia.org, so it will search in the english section of the website).
Under find results, type something that will stand out, for example, ABCDEF123456.
Now, go to Bookmarks, click on Bookmark this page (make sure you are in the tab where you searched for ABCDEF123456).
Change Name to read Wikipedia Quicksearch (or whatever you want).
Change Create in to read Quick Searches (this isn't necessary, but it makes organisation of your bookmarks easier).
    Now, go to Manage Bookmarks.
Find the bookmark you just created and right click on it.
    Goto properties.
Go to Location and find ABCDEF123456 in the URL listed there. Replace ABCDEF123456 with "%s" (no quotes).
Change Keyword to read "wiki" (no quotes).
Now, go to your address bar, type "wiki" (no quotes), then type something you want to search for. For example, type "wiki onion" (no quotes) to search wikipedia for onions.

You can do this with any other search engine of anykind. Just search for something, then bookmark the search, go to the bookmark properties, replace your search term with %s, and make a keyword.
You can also make quicksearches that don't use searches. For example, you could make a quicksearch like this:
    "en.wikpedia.org/%s"
That will take you directly to a wikipedia article, skipping the google search.

also i have a weird bug with my firefox. the bookmarks end up with weird icons. like the gmail icon and fileplanet icon just starts taking over other bookmarks.
