The short answer is that unpopped kernels have leaky hulls (seed coats) that prevent the buildup of sufficient pressure to cause the pop. The research has been published online and will appear in the July 11 edition of the journal BioMacromolecules. From the article: 'In the varieties popped, the percentage of unpopped kernels ranged from 4 percent in premium brands to 47 percent in the cheaper ones.' So buying the good stuff for home use is probably worth it.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The truth comes out. Don't believe a murderer people. Cole-MAN is just a violent psycho. Not a pimp. Repeat; NOT a pimp.

Otherwise:
moderate amount of salt,
light on the butter.
[Enough to make you thirsty after about 7 handfuls.]
Its tantric.
Same with me.
It's good to see scientist are doing good.
Like "GOLDen top", or "GOLD'n touch"
The gold part comes from the orangy color, achieved with healthy beta carotene!
Make no mistake, popcorn topping is a healthy treat. Doctors recommend 4 8-oz servings a day.
new!
Mor GOLD Plus
A better butter substitute requiring no refrigeration. A creamy liquid topping at room temperature, with artificial flavoring and salt.
If it's liquid at room temperature, it's gotta taste good.
Never goes bad, because not even bacteria will eat it!
The other great one?
Kettle Corn!
butter+sugar ftw!
Mmmmm toffee popcorn. The only kind I ever eat, on the rare occasion I will have popcorn. Once you've had it everything else tastes crap.
Butterkist Toffee popcorn in those little bags, mmm-mmm good.
I'm sure someone has something more creative.

Scientists actually looked into that?
...
How bored WERE they?
As for mine, lightly buttered theatre popcorn. No salt.
Ah, Butterkist Toffee popcorn <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The kind of popcorn you have to break through a solid crust of sugar to get to the popcorn. The kind where saying "Would you like some popcorn with your toffee?" makes sense.
Mmm-mmm good indeed.
It's..popcorn. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> They could've been researching/advancing modern medicine instead of figuring out why there were unpopped kernels.
The kind you make yourself with a pop corn popper (not micorwave) is even better but more time consuming.
And yea 2:35 does seem to be the magic number for when you do use the microwave.
And butter toffe popcorn is tasty too
