    I just want everything on my computer to look super slick matching my nifty wallpaper.

    The one I have now is only the task bar, not the entire theme, like windows and everything... Thats pretty much what i was shooting for.

    The trick is not installing tons of spyware-toting memory-hogging always-on theme programs but to be satisfied with the vanilla Windows 2000 look, like me. So stop posting screenshots before you spread the madness.

    BTW, nice wallpaper, though I personally like girly images rather than some scary dude in a glowing gas mask staring at me.

    Do you mean completely black? Because that would be pointless...

    You can go in your Desktop Properties, Appearance, Advanced. Select 3D Objects and select black. Note that this is all 3D objects, not just the taskbar.

    Otherwise, you can do an auto-hide on the taskbar, so it hides itself when you want to watch the background.
