more chalk art
Well I did another one last Friday (last one till next fall), it was the night event, which means its done under black light with special glow chalk. The catch is you only get one packet of glow chalk plus white and black, if you need more of a color you have to go bargain with other people. Also the color selection is wholly inferior to the daytime one.
Anywho, this is entitled “El Tigre Con Fuego y Hiello” which translates to “The Tiger with Fire and Ice.” Unfortunately I was kinda busy right before the completion and did not get to look up how to spell Ice, as such I had to ask around and the people who answered me were wrong (it was a pair of ‘em and they both agreed so figured they would be right. Human stupidity:1 Random people: 0). Also I was positions right at the edge of the black light area so mine glows a bit less than others, and the flash from the camera also drowns out some of the black light glowing . I should be getting a picture from a friend who’s camera did not use a flash soon, though I don’t know how soon.
The blue stripes were supposed to look like ice, however as I did not have a glow in the dark white, and the normal white just made things look dull and grey, there was no way to really give that impression with the colors at hand. Though I think the fire effect came of fairly nice
