well i tought you can open the medpack from the back and get all kinds of medpack stuff there to play and mix with, bandages and that kind of things. And the shiny thing is for marines so they can see it in the dark or just for newbies so they would go near the shiny thingi.

oh yeh forgot that i love the new model because i love all brigs model. Its like a piece of hl2 in ns.

it makes me mad when they change classic parts of NS for no reason. Why the hell did they change them in the first place? Bad decision IMO to change classic aspects of the game for no reason.

Yeah, prefer old model by miles. You can barely notice the difference between catpacks/medpacks and, if you're colorblind/nearsighted, ammo packs too.

I like the new model, I think it's lovely looking...I just also can't tell it from catpacks half the time :/ If anything I'd change the catpacks a bit.

i really liked how the old medpacks were capsul shaped and had huge medical +'s on them.

How about just make the packs glow slightly? Like meds glow blue, Stims glow Red, and ammo glow something else.

LOL 6 DAYS IN SANJI reppazent. Hey when is he going to finish that huh? Huh? huh? :O

The reason I want to be able to differentiate stuff on the floor is so I can see it. These new medpacks are hard to see. They're just these flat little slabs. Personally I hate the catpacks too. They're flat little slabs. These things have no character! What happened to Charlie's gritty vision of ugly technologies?

Medpacks look way to much like Catpacks now.
    Ammo is a wedge
    Catpacks a Brik
Medpacks a Tube (but now a brik too)

    (On a side note:)

wow... you guys are... complaining... about... medpack... models...

I don't mean to sound rude, but this barely qualifies as a discussion.

why do you need to know the difference between a medpack, catpack, and ammo pack, anyway? it's rarely ever an issue for anyone, and never game-tilting.

I could understand this coming up as a tidbit, but having its own thread... wow.

do people honestly care that much? when I heard they changed the model, I shrugged... thought the old model looked cartoony, but ultimately didn't care how it looked.

for the nearsighted/color blind... when you see something on the floor, run over it.. it's not going to be bad, just maybe not what you need.

and this thread still seems silly. =P

dont bring that "omg u shuldnt kare wut it is just go over it LOL!!1" thats retarded. models should look distinct. also i don tsee why they even changed the old model, the old one was absolutely fine. in my opinion it looked more futuristic.

it could be that when the nanites are done, they make a loud beeping noise to show their eagerness to jump into the heat of battle! Ah.. nanites, ftw.

IMO, they ARE distinct. But even if they weren't, I wouldn't care... because it's never an issue.. =P

As long as Jas0 drops me the right one when I need it I don't have a problem with how they look <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
