Isn't it funny how you spot your last post by your avatar/sig?     Yes. Its actually worse then that for alot of us, we tend to identify people by, and associate them with, their avatar. This causes problems when they change their avatar, sometime you often completely fail to recognize them.

    I think what was even odder was when CForresters avatar was a picture of Esuna and people kept mistaking him for Esuna (I did it once or twice).. even though I don't think esuna has ever used himself for his avatar..

    I find it more confusing when people I meet on the street look like certain forumgoer's avatars/sigs. Like for instance I went to Dairy Queen yesterday and the girl who gave me the ice cream was a dead ringer for Esuna, so I thought for a second I was talking to CForrester. It was kinda sad.

    Those were the days. And then... the limit.

    I changed my avatar to an X-Wing taking off from Yavin 4 to assault the Death Star. Whenever I would join IRC, people would say "Hey Tycho, why don't you post on the forums any more?" I was, to everyone, the guy with the blue spinny avatar.

    Still today, I mourn my loss.

    And I find "Swift" disturbing...

    All my sigs/avatars are generally fairly unique... With the exception of that neopet thing I had for a while, no one ever has a sig or ava that looks very similar to one of mine.
