How To Complie Tga Files?

Ok small problem (yes it is NS related).
When using the screenshot command in console NS spits out some tga files unfortunately i cant open them. Does anyone know how to compile them to a bmp or jpg.

    <a href='http://www.gimp.org/' target='_blank'>http://www.gimp.org/</a> (free photo program, like photoshop and can open .tga's... could just open the tga's up and save them as jpg or bmp)

    or you could download the trial of paint shop pro at www.jasc.com

    It has a batch compile feature where you can just select all your .tga and batch compile then into .jpgs or .bmps

    My snapshots always come out in bmp format. What are you doing to get tga's?

    opening console and typing screenshot (i do this when i want a screenie of the console log <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

    Use "snapshot", not "screenshot".

    lol, your not "compiling a targa into a bmp" more like converting between image formats.

    wally can edit targas, so can adobe photoshop, paint shop pro, etc. adobe photoshop seems to be the best for editing targas though.

    If you open your console and type "snapshot" and then hit enter, you will create a screenshot in bmp format. I don't understand why one would type screenshot only to want to convert a tga file to bmp.

    Maybe cause i didnt know the command snapshot and i wanted a screen soo badly, that i tried screenshot <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
