Random People With Icons

Im hosting my own server and some random people got icons.
I asked them how they got it and they said something about Counseler stuff.
I dont like them having it like this cause they can think its admin on server.

Trust me, you'll need it. You just stated that you want to ban all NS constellation members and developers (read people who have donated money to NS, and people who MADE NS)

Constellation is somethign you get when you donate money to Flayra, the developer of NS. Other iconned people are developers, even more important people - the ones who made this game.
No, they don't have admin on your server.

It has nothing to do with server privacy. If you don't like that the game has built in uplinks to master NS servers you can either disable those uplinks or run a different game's server. Iconed members do not have any special authority on your server, they simply have the icon as a status symbol for what they have done in the community. You can still preform any and all administrative action nessicary to deal with them, and they do not have any abnormal access to your servers function.

I didnt mean to ban i dont mean any harm just that on my server Icon = Admin and that just really creeps me out

NS Warrior. It's not a privacy thing. It's recognizing those who have spent time creating the game (Developers <!--emo&::tsa::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tsa.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tsa.gif' /><!--endemo--> ), people responsible for testing the game and getting it playable (Playtesters, skulk icon), and Those who have donated money to Flayra to help him create this wonderful, FREE mod (Constellation members, Star Icon). If you have issue with this, change your server variable mp_uplink to 0. But I feel if you want to alienate others from your community based on their status, I feel you won't grow very fast...

With Uplink_0 flay could come to his server and no one would be able to tell it was the real deal... What's your server IP nswarrior? I have a sudden urge to... not smurf as flayra... yes... that will do...

You can still have icons for admins, but they're all different as far as I know. Just make sure people know how to distinguish non-admins from admins.

You just have to realize that you basicly did the equvilant of coming on here and telling us that 2+2=5 as far as we are concerned.

Stating that you want to ban all developers playtesters and contributors is probably not going to win you popularity points on any mod's forums. Most places you probably would have been insulted alot more then we stooped to here.
