I watched about an hour of the BBC America channel, and they were showing Grahem Norton's show from when it was back in the UK, and I would just like to say that from my own scientific observation (read: not scientific at all) of both the audience and the commercials for that one show w/ the women who are telling people they dress like crap, that yes there is an abundance of fattys in euroland.

At least 66% of all talk show audiences have to be made up of fat people, probably wearing tight-fitting clothes. It's a universal constant.

Not to mention the fact that they were fans of Graham Norton makes it more likely that they'll be horrible, horrible people.

This is one Englishman who isn't overweight!

Although I think I gained a slight gut after St. Patricks' day last Thursday.

3pm drinking? Student? £1.50/pint of Guiness! GG!

Instead you have an avatar of a crossdressing sheep.

    Sure you're not a Scottsman?

I can't really relate, as I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm a bit too skinny. However I would like to point out one thing: my lack of a healthy body weight shares one thing in common with too much weight - they're both a result of unhealthy and/or processed foods. Bah I really need to start eating better.
