I was thinking more along the lines of those telescopic bo-staffs that Robin/Gambit use. I definately thought we were in for a fight...but then, I always secretely hope that everything comes down to other people fighting.

YEs this is quite a good short, I rememeberr seeing this a long time ago on a compilation movie that had a bunch fo shorts on it that had won various awards. All I can remeber from that video is this short and a couple of shorts by Bill Plympton, who is an absolute genius when it comes to animation.
