24 is actully a show about terrorists carrying out attacks and being stopped by the counter terrorists. It's a really good show, you must watch.(might be coming to an end now, I don't know what other attacks the terrorists might have)

[offtopic]The selling point of 24 is that the show is set in real time, that is, the 24 (1-hour) episodes of the season make up exactly one day fighting terrorists. Suffice it to say, it's a rather hectic 24 hours.

I accuse Renegade, Docchimpy, and Abra.

But really, all our double thinking is causing the problems.

As I said on day one, the alligence between Zerobyte and Pithlit rubbed me the wrong way. What I didn't say (but isn't that hard to assume) is that I thought at least one of them was a wolf.

Unfortuantly, Zerobyte wasn't.

So suprise suprise, I'm starting the day's voting (again) by voting for Pithlit.

As for the psychic, I don't know if he contacted anyone other than me and isamil.

mouse how do you know zerobyte wasnt a wolf? did the psychic tell you?
• GwahirGwahir Join Date: 2002-04-24 Member: 513Members, Constellation
I'll have to be honest here. Mouse, your behavior has been just as suspect. I made that feeling known on IRC. Your words feel overly considered because you have more to lose than the rest of us, and fewer resources to waste.

Now you are flaunting around this "mandate from the psychic," but just in fewer words. I have no proof other than the way you rub me. You claim to know the psychic, but I find that unlikely. Your only reason for 0B and pith is the same as mine, and just as valid. I will not come out and call you a wolf, but consider yourself on probation.

gwahir if you wont do it i will

i believe zerobyte isamil and mouse are the 3 wolves trying to fool us with this big trick of knowing the psychic

i vote for mouse

One question though, why would mouse deal a killing vote against 0B if they were both wolves?

Supposing I was a wolf, I fail to see why I would lynch one of my own. I'm also curious as to why you find it unlikely I know the psychic Gwahir.

Of course, I have no intention of proving my knowledge of the psychic's identity, because to do so, I would have to make the psychic's identity common knowledge; I hope you can see why this is not something any of the humans would want to happen.

As for my suspicions against Pith and 0B Gwahir, they originated when Pithlit implied that I was a wolf, and then didn't vote against me.
My suspisions were then inflamed by Pithlit's odd behaviour. Admittedly, my suspisions against 0B were purely based on his assosiation with Pithlit. When I voted against him I was hoping Zerobyte was a wolf, however, as I mentioned before, he unfortuantly wasn't.

While I find it disenheartning that I have lost your trust, I have suspected that I was going to lead a short life ever since my vote against Sky. Trust is indeed a fickle thing within this game, were I to have an outside view of this game I would the price I have had to pay for my continued honesty amusing. Some realise that I am indeed being honest and I thank them for their trust. But others appear to be incredulous that I would dare be honest in what I say and try and find alternate reasons for my actions.

In closing, this is what I know.

I am human.
I know the identity of the psychic.
The psychic is still alive.
I do not know the identities of the seer or guardian.
I do not know if the seer or guardian are still alive.
Zerobyte was human.
There are still 3 wolves.
I am not certain of the identity of any of the wolves.
I don't expect to live to the 4th day
I have told no lies thus far.
I will tell no lies for the remainder of my life in this game.

I've been chewing on this for a while now - why did it make you wonder about him? It certainly wasn't obvious that Chrono didn't have a PC; me and docchimpy felt the same way as Zerobyte, and we now know that doc wasn't a wolf.

I'll wait for your response before I vote for you though, Freak.

-----

I'm also uneasy about the Mouse/Isamil thing, but I want to wait longer before making a judgement.

My vote will most likely be for one of these three, unless something drastic changes.

I have to say, i trust mouse.
What he said, backed sky already up (that they were contacted by the psychic), and since i trust sky, i will trust you, mouse, aswell.
Since you mentioned Isamil, to be clear i guess, we have 5 votes at our hand to kill the wolves, wich is, for day 2 not bad.
I am very sad, that you want to see me dead, because i thought, i had justified my actions enough already.
I´m even more sad thaht i cant defend myself anymore, than give you my word, that i am human.
So i urge you, not to waste the changce, as long as we are all united and not killed by the wolves to use our wolves, to hun them down.

I want to apologise to isamil since i started to rally a vote against him yesterday, now im pleased that you made it through alive, although the one i trusted most, zerobyte was killed in the process.
Its very sad, because we had 6 people for our couse if you believed me in the first place

Now well, for my last point, i´ll vote for Chrono since he started the vote against mouse.

A lone vote is useless at the end of the day, my vote goes where it is needed when it is needed.

I also trust Mouse on this. I do not know who to vote for at the moment though. Maybe some evidence comes up...
• SkySky Join Date: 2004-04-23 Member: 28131Members
Right now I don't think Mouse is a wolf. If he is a wolf, he's either incredibly bold or incredibly dumb. Chrono, on the other hand, is still suspicious to me because of that little "Hi I'm here" thing from "yesterday". However, I'm going to vote for Gwahir right now because of what I said when I voted for Isamil:

QUOTE

And at this point, both Gwahir and Isamil have been acting suspicious enough (and by suspicious, I mean causing a stir over relatively minor annoyances) for me to suspect one of them of being a wolf. But right now it's a crapshoot which one is the wolf, so I'm going to vote for Isamil. That may change later.

Like I said before, I still find that little incident unusually inflammatory, and furthermore I think it's only fair that, becuase I voted for Isamil the first day, and it was basically a 50-50 toss-up vote, I vote for Gwahir now. This is, of course, subject to change.

understandable but i have many good reasons for my inactivity

1) if you read my posts in the sign ups you would have heard im out of town and so i dont have much access to a PC
2) i just got home from the D1 competitions
3) im scrambling to fill out this years FAFSA

This was Chrono's post, mine came directly after it. After reading it, it did sound to me like he had made it fairly well known why he had been inactive.

Going by what Mouse says about ZeroByte being a human, my mistake was putting faith into the fact that everyone already knew why he was inactive.

You know what? In retrospect, Chrono seems the most suspect* to me, assuming Zero was human. I'm going to vote for him now.

I vote for Chrono. This might change, of course.

*Not that there's much evidence against anyone yet.

I've been thinking through the situation with Mouse, and have decided to myself that he is telling the truth. He hasn't played before, from what I've seen he hasn't spectated either. From my knowledge he doesn't have any previous TWG experience. Why am I stating this? Because a fake Psychic gambit is a very risky thing for a wolf to do. Maybe he would be capable of pulling this off in the future, but right now I believe him. Likewise, I'll follow his lead - Pithlit.
• ByekaByeka Name changed from Freak83 Toronto Join Date: 2003-03-13 Member: 14484Members, Constellation
Actually he might have spectated, not entierly sure.
• IsamilIsamil Join Date: 2003-11-25 Member: 23552Members, Constellation
Pithlits sudden change of heart from "I want to kill you" to "I completly trust you" seems suspicious(Just like most of his other actions....)
I suspect Chrono as well, and I feel that Pithlit's voting for Chrono might just be to throw us off. If we kill Pithlit today and find out he was a wolf, I'l vote for Chrono tomarrow; if we find out he isn't a wolf, I'l still vote for Chrono.

Mouse and I suspected that either Pithlit or Zerobyte was a wolf(That IRC log kind of proved they most likely weren't both wolves). Since Zerobyte wasn't a wolf, and along with the other problems with Pithlit, I'm voting for him.
