I want to produce an athmospheric NaSe action movie comparable to one of my favourite movies: Alien. I am playing around with demo recording. Now I am asking myself how to turn off some athmospheric killing gameplay elements. My configuration file look like this at the moment.

Does anybody know some more configuration entries to turn off textmessages or disable parts of the hud?

    some other very useful commands you can try out:

    gamma
    lightgamma
    brightness

    they all somehow control the light, which is very useful for an athmospheric movie <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I wouldnt mind helping either. I always wanted to have a demo of like 18 skulks rushing down a hallway, showing the marine in first person with a1 and an lmg.

    It will not be a story movie with "actors", but thank you for your offerings. I will try to create a gameplay movie with more athmosphere than usual Counter-Strike Frag, Next Frag, Another 2 Frags videos. Removing parts of the HUD is one of my maingoals. Production will start after beta6 release. Maybe you will be part of the movie if I meet you at a public server <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> Always remember:

    Heres an idea, make a movie with cloaked gorges in a tsa spaceship that get in all sorts of crazy adventures. And than theres the wacky commander who suspects that the gorges are there but cannot prove the exsitance of the gorges to his marines.     If your acctually serious I would be very interested in helping to do the sound work and or creating a song just for the movie.

    I have attempted to do music or soundwork for two NS movies now, however the projects both folded up before they were completed. The last one being the NS movie Infestation.

    So give me an email or PM me if you are interested I have alot of experiance to offer. I also enjoy doing voice acting.
