I can't see how some reviewers said that H2 is a more anticipated game than HL2..... Yeah right LOL Millions of people have been wating for HL2 for over 5 years.....
WTH is HALO anyway never mind HALO 2. They are nowhere near as ground breaking as HL was.

Yeah... I know it would run ok...well... When I tried the demo, there was noticeable audio static, but video was very smooth... until a good minute into the G-man intro, then my pc abruptly restarts. I tried monkying with different display options, updated my video card drivers etc. to no avail.
I even emailed steam's technical support team along with an msinfo32 file. I got a response about 3 weeks later, and all they asked me is to try it out again (I suppose there have been some patches for the demo in the meantime), and if I have any more problems, to reply. But by then I had deleted the demo, assuming that I would have a rebuilt PC.
But alas I do not yet. Still sitting with my 1Ghz AMD thunderbird proc, 512mb PC133 Ram and GeForce 4 4200 ti gfx card.
I dont own HL2 yet, and I know I could run it ok.
I'll wait till I have a brand-spanking rebuilt pc so I can run it *mint* at 1280x1024, and have a great HL2 experience.
I don't have HL2 yet because 1. I want a better computer to experience it in some med-high settings 2. There aren't any good mods out <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> (not many I mean)
Of course there are no good mods out. Jesus how long do you think it takes to make a great mod? If you think NS was made in two months you're gravely mistaken.
and another plus HL2 has over halo2 is the updated content for example shortely after the release hl2 added deathmatch (nothing big) now they are going to add 3 new weapons to deathmatch (next patch i believe) and they are working on HDR and a new singleplayer level called the lost coast (there is a thread on it in this forum) since halo 2 has been out not once have i heard microsoft mention they are adding new stuff to engine/game/story

anyway half life 2 defintely will have a lot more replayibility than halo 2 cos of mods while halo 2 will probably never change much
