Yes, I imagine Venmoch means Platoon. However, coincidentally, Homeworld chronicles the journey of a race of people who lost their entire planet (death), and are leaving that planet in search of their planet of origin (running).
Platoon, the whole dude being chased by the NVA while the helicopters all fly overhead. Damn that was a cool scene.
And incidently I've never played Homeworld although it sounds a little Battlestar Galactica

This is bad...no one knows where or how to get the Diablo soundtrack? I mean its DIABLO...to me the soundtrack for that game is far, far better than D2. To simply put, D1's music sucked me into the game more than D2 can to me. I've searched for a program that can open up blizz's file format...no luck.
On the other hand, BG, BG2, IWD and IWD2 all have excellent soundtracks, esp IWD for which i own the original cd soundtrack. Making a post for the Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory soundtrack.
The upside: yes, you can get it all, for free. Straight from UbiSoft in a big zip file, with all of them named by mission name & whether they're the "exploring," "stress," "high stress," or "fight" themes of that level.
The downside (or more upside, depending on what you think about it): you have to sign up with them.
They've got this fan-driven promotional thing going called "Team Shadow Net," where you make a login to their site. That's the typical part.
The extra thing they're doing that I haven't seen before is posting challenges. For instance, if you make a machinima video and submit it, it can get put in the A/V room where they have other official and non/official things, and you get points for completing a challenge. These points are used in an online store, in which you can buy things like....the soundtrack CD. Getting the CD seems pointless considering you can gain 10 points for downloading it from the A/V room, but I guess some people want the official thing.
In any case, if you want to sign up and generously give me credit for referring you to it, use this link: http://teamshadownet.splintercell.com/scct/?u=Marik_Steele I know that's a very possible violation of the "no aggressive advertisement" rules I'm in place to enforce, so I'm labeling it as such...and I'm also providing this equivalent, non-referral link. It does the exact same stuff for you -- all that's different is that I get no points on my end if you sign up. http://teamshadownet.splintercell.com/scct/
(By the way, I have to thank DXO for letting me know about this whole thing...he's a member too, so if you're a friend of his and want him to get referral credit instead of me or nobody, ask him what his link would be. I've forgotten, and I know it's not "DXO" at the end)
The site, while filled with a lot of stupid users, is rather brilliantly executed. It's nice to see the continued updates it has received, and the contributions from the community. If I had played the games, I'm sure I would be hooked on the site.
EDIT: The Beyond Good & Evil soundtrack had a lot of errors (both from missing files and what seemed to be original cd read errors). I tried downloading it again, and found that it's been wiped clean from the server. I visited the forums for the site hosting the files, and they said this: http://forums.videogamesmedia.com/viewtopic.php?t=100
I wanted to post it here in case any other user had the same problem.

Bumping this again, this time for remixes (and some originals, I think) of Bungie music. Some of the remixes are poor, but some are actually not half bad. I hope this bump isn't too weak to be worthwhile, but I wanted to share.
