Where can i find a link to them, i was trying to install a custom spray and i ended up axedently deleting this file, and as a result no sprays are working at all, not even other peoples default ones..

    Detail textures are completely unrelated to sprays - they are a technology that adds visual enhacements to existing textures. They have been locked because they could be exploited for a serious advantage.

    Well, when attempting to change spray my console tells me "Cvar_Set: variable r_detailtextures not found"

    Your console shouldn't have anything to do with your spray. Your spray is a .wad file in your ns folder called tempdecal.wad. Change that, and you'll change your spray.

    Thats precisly why i'm confused.. I only ever get the error when I change my spray. But if this is the case can you please offer me some suggestions why not even the default sprays are working.

    You probably deleted them or wrote over them. To get them back, you might have to reinstall NS.

    As for a custom spray, I reccomend you google them - there are dozens of sites offering free spraypaint images.

    No, NS can find the defaults in the options tab its just that when i spray them nothing happens the same for other peoples sprays to me <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> It turns out that its not just NS, I can't see them in CS either..

    you probably either over wrote something incorectly (just reinstall NS) or disabled sprays, look in the vgui menu

    and next time just drag and drop the wad file in to the folder and NOTHING else (remember, don't go into the player set up or it will reset)

    Do you see any blood? Check if mp_decals is set to at least 300... Also, it could be that you don't allow any files to download to your PC - check cl_allowdownload or a command similar to that...

    Well, I have two OS on my comp and it seems that windows XP works but windows 2000 doesn't, any ideas why?
