Flashing Egg/resource Huds ...

Yeah.. I initially thought it was just me being imaginative, but after not-too-careful examination I realized, "Hey, there's about 15 Hive Eggs flashing across in a neat, snug row on the top of my screen periodicly!"

After switching to the Marines, I achieved the same thing, except it was the team bar flashing instead.

I am running AmigaMerlin 2.5 XP drivers for the Voodoo 4/5 ( I have a Voodoo 5 ).

If anybody else is running this setup or could help me with the problem (although I think it is strictly Voodoo related) please help. Thanks!

Third party openGL drivers have a history of messing up VGUI components of half-life, especially wickedGL. I'd imagine your AmigaMerlin is in a similar boat.

There's not much you can do to support obsolete hardware from a company that went out of business almost 2 years ago...

I know monse will probably nuke my post for thsi, but you can get a good geforce 3 for really really cheap. hell you could probably pick up a GF2 for $20. It would really be worth it just to get a card that is supported by today's operating systems and games.

Ah, unfortunately, getting out of the hole of a motherboard with only a PCI slot setup is not in my near future. All I have is my v5 PCI.

Hopefully, I can figure out a way on my own to stop the madness lol <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Thanks anyways.

And PS: I will not denounce you for speaking of ..them. The N word. You prepared yourself well to speak of the devil. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
