It's the revelation of the day! I wonder why? Maybe it's because no one wants to write or read about NS, they want to play NS? Maybe?

hafhafhaf, Fan fic has *always* been slow, but that doesn't mean there are fantastic works of literature in there. Back in 1.xx days it was so slow that my constant forumiting [on when I got up, on when I was at school, on when I was at home] I had just enough internet to surf the forums but not enough to play, so I forumited and I fan-ficed my head off. It may be slow but at least it's active!

speaking of which, if your looking for a good read click on that link in my sig called "situational ethics" but be forwarned it's about 16 pages.

The fan fic forum has way more views in comparision to this one.

That's probably because no one looks to ns.org to get recruited / get recruits. Not now anyways. I don't know how it was back in the day...
IRC + INGAME > NS.ORG clan recruitment forum!

it wouldnt have to be like that, a forum could make a good addition to the existing 2.

I think it's because there's not a big group of fanfiction writers or readers. I'm actually a fanficreader/writer myself. It is like 5kyh16h91 said. Nobody really wants to read, they wanna play..

The Fanfictions aren't bad..if you are interested, read a few of 'em

Im more of a fanfic writer as opposed to reader. I wrote fanfics for various things in 6th grade, and began to develop a more mature sense of wrting as I aged.

ya me 2! I wrote fanfictions for "Third Watch" and "fastlane" (I dunno if you know these tv shows). And I also wrote many shortstories, poems and stuff. I'm currently working on my first novel. It's an NS novel =) about my squad and some special subcast characters like "bruce willis" and "william baldwin" I got 31 DinA4 Pages now. My goal's to have a minimum of 200.

I was about to say "count me as a 3rd" and explain that I'd written but not read much...then I remembered that ever since Zunni took over I&S, there was a chance he'd moved the thread I'm talking about out of the way and you guys wouldn't have been able to read it.

Enough of my explaining here--I already did in the movepost I just made to this oldie.

I've never written one. I'm thinking I should, but I couldn't possibly imagine writing one about sci-fi. I'd want it to relate to my life in some way but I cannot think of it...

Still waiting on Flayra to respond about the cash prizes me and Del are funding for the contest.

I think if I'd get my novel published I'd have to give him (Flayra) 80 or 90 per cent of the money I'll get or something...but I think it's fair. Without his idea I couldn't have written that novel
