I tried that bink video, it compresses VERY smoothly but the problem:
The video player SUCKS! It's like this tiny little screen I can't do anything with, I can't double it's size nor can I go forward or rewind to any part of the video...

The application doing the compression, has nothing to do with compression quality and size. The only thing Premiere (or any other video editing software) does, is compress the movie with the chosen codec. As for codecs, DivX (the one used for this movie) is ok, but XviD is widely regarded as the best codec for gaming movies.
Size/Quality was very bad, however. With proper settings, you could've easily gotten very good quality at that length with a 90 mb limit. There are several good tutorials on www.own-age.com for example, if you're interesting in learning how to do it (this applies to everyone :E).
Fading very decent, but you should really have cut out all the bits where nothing is happening (ie. blinking out and healing). Also, I giggled when you had 25 hp and just stood there (outside the hive), and they still didn't kill you.

That's on purpose. I think NS frag vids have to be played differently. Just showing random kills looks bad in NS, the skill is how you play out a scenerio more so than just "swipe - OMG A KILL"
Like you said you giggled when I lived with 25 HP and he couldn't kill me; had I cut that out you wouldn't have experienced the said emotion. It makes it less interesting.
Furthermore he did try and kill me, if you had sound you would have known he was out of shotgun bullets, and was firing his pistol at me but I had already ducked out. Not only did I dodge the pistol bullet but the sieges were blasting away at the hive. That's key NS video footage IMO.
I also believe the large filesize was because I didn't compress the audio. I thought just by slapping on mp3's that's how much added filesize I would get, but I guess it somehow becomes a .wav . So my movie should only be like 50-60 megs but it's now 90 because of the music? I guess?

And btw <b>Forlorn</b>.. You killed like 10+ Marines there. Of course they are noobs if they didnt kill you. You were mostly alone there with the marines. So i guess they are noobs or having bad luck. Frag movies are often nice and short. This movie was when 1 lonely fade go back and forwards and kill 1-2 marines each turn. I dont call it nice. But... that is just my opinion.

Yep, Magitek was definately missed when he went on his absence. Like you said you giggled when I lived with 25 HP and he couldn't kill me; had I cut that out you wouldn't have experienced the said emotion. It makes it less interesting.
Furthermore he did try and kill me, if you had sound you would have known he was out of shotgun bullets, and was firing his pistol at me but I had already ducked out. Not only did I dodge the pistol bullet but the sieges were blasting away at the hive. That's key NS video footage IMO.
I also believe the large filesize was because I didn't compress the audio. I thought just by slapping on mp3's that's how much added filesize I would get, but I guess it somehow becomes a .wav . So my movie should only be like 50-60 megs but it's now 90 because of the music? I guess?

And btw <b>Forlorn</b>.. You killed like 10+ Marines there. Of course they are noobs if they didnt kill you. You were mostly alone there with the marines. So i guess they are noobs or having bad luck. Frag movies are often nice and short. This movie was when 1 lonely fade go back and forwards and kill 1-2 marines each turn. I dont call it nice. But... that is just my opinion.
