Free Webhosting

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be creating a website for forums, specifically, phpBB and I'd like to know what the best free hosts out there are. I need FTP access but not much space, really. I'm unsure of how many users will be in the forum DB. What do you all recommend?

I don't think too many of the free hosts out there are going to be extreamly forum friendly... But best of luck anyways.

hmm, i dont think there is any free hosts with mysql and php on them :/

<a href='http://www.frandt.com' target='_blank'>Frandt.com</a> were offering free web hosting with MySQL and PHP support. I'm not sure if they still offer it but it's worth a look. All I can say is it works for me and I'm happy.

If you just want to have a forum set up you can use www.forumer.com. It's a site specifically for forums. When you sign up, they automatically provide you with an IPB that's ready to go. I just set up a forum there yesterday, and it seems to work just fine.
