I didn't mean to post this in New Player Forum, sorry. Can Someone move this to General Discussion or something? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Eekent wft u jerking teh newbies arnd 4? meanie.

Phantom reload sounds in marine start even after a base relocation is a bug in the game that hasn't been fixed from as far back as I can remember. Back when the marine and alien buildings were HUGE, maps slowed EVERY1 down to 60 FPS or worse, and some maps were literally impassable for Onos, this bug was still around, and it still is today. It's like a roach, never dyin.

Basically it just means a marine has spawned in somewhere else on the map. You will just have to deal with being paranoid going gorge and putting up marine start RT after reloc.
