Sound Stopped Working

<div class="IPBDescription">Only music is playing</div> So heres the problem: I cant hear anything except music.
Its been couple weeks since I played, that time it worked right. Now I fired up steam (updated) and NS, in-game music plays nicely again for few moments and someone starts firing HMG right at me. Takes a little time to notice - I cant hear a thing what was going on.
Even the button sounds in menus wont work.
Music still keeps playing. And after restart, same thing. Reboot didnt help either.

Edit: Problem resolved. Something was not right in Soundblaster EAX settings, just turned them to stereo (test) and back to 5.1 (test working now).
