What has being christian got to do with it? We're not christian, not religious in the least. However it is a good social event, and it's nice to have and give presents [more the 'having' part, though].
Even some less-traditional jews celebrate cristmas, I believe. It's not like some uber-religious thing.. Only the truly wacky celebrate christmas for Jesus or Buddha or whoever invented it =]
I might get two books, and either a game or some money instead, with your typical clothes. Depends what I'm feeling in a few weeks from now when I can be bothered thinking about it.. heh.
Seeing as I'm not Christian, my Christmas list is quite short, really.
I find it kind of sad when people celebrate religious holidays that aren't theirs, just to fit in.
While we're at it, I find it a little odd that some Jews do stuff for Christmas. We've got like five or six festivals as is, so it's not like we're running short in that department (religous or not, some of 'em are still a lot of fun. Besides, Chanukah is usually around Christmas time anyway).
Don't quote what I said about Jews, that's just something that I seem to remember. It doesn't seem to be so extraordinary though - for most other people it's just a holiday where you give presents. It doesn't have to be, and isn't, a religious occasion.

I always seem to hear people complaining about Christmas becoming too commercial, and that it's about "the spirit of Christmas" rather than gift giving. Sounds like religion to me...)
It originated as a religious occasion, but it's not for many many people now. Meanings change over time, you've got to take things at what they mean to people. "God damnit!" is now an expression of frustration. "1337" is a sarcastic catchprase, instead of actually signifying that somebody is exceptionally talented at what they do. People don't see it as a religious occasion, just a holiday to enjoy.
it's summer holidays for us in Australia anyway, so we'd end up having some sort of break then anyway.
Throw a shrimp on the barbie, watch some footy, drink some amber liquid, I mean, fair dinkum, you could take an esky out to bicent park with the rellos but you wouldn't want to stay out too long of Chrisse Day, as Christmas in the merry old land of oz is dryer than a dead dingo's donger. So you'd have to be a great galah to want to get heat stroke from that, athough you could duck out of your trackie daks, slip into a cozzie and take a dip, then there'd be no dramas, mate, no worries at all.
On a slightly less absurd note, it is believed that the romans chose christmas day because it was the day of one of their polytheist celebrations and nobody wants to miss out on a chance to have a rip snorter of a party just because you want to change religion, ay?

I will get the same 50 bucks I always get. I'd be happy if we actually set up a christmas tree this year. Last year, we didn't due to personal circumstances.

Those prices are... wierd. IDE cables for ?3?! Try 30p Case for ?20?! that's AWESOME. Naff PSU though. Hmm. But it's silent though. DVD Rom is decent, but not special.
