In my experience, when someone starts a sentence with the phrase "no offense", they know they're about to offend you.

Regardless of the content of your link, the mere fact that it's been posted on these forums at least 5 times that I can remember causes me to be offended.

It may have been difficult to search for due to spelling errors a-plenty, but the most recent thread I can remember about this was easily remembered because of the "what hit the pint?" jokes. Thus, searching for "pint" returned <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=80393&hl=pint' target='_blank'>this</a>.

In short: this is nothing new, and previous experience shows the conversations stemming from it tend to go downhill far too quickly.
