for bots you can go rcbot [decent marine / alien bot] whichbot [excellent alien bot, uses teamwork and the like] and hivemind bots. There is a stickied thread in OT with links to bots, and on the sites there should be an option to download the bots with metamod or without metamod. Try and get metamod working then report back here.

What plugins are you planning to use? server specs?
