ermm.. hi everybody?
i'd like to be more constructive than that, so... a while ago i surfed on natural-selection.org, thougt "nice page", bookmarked it and forgot <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> it would probably stay that way, if i didn't get so bored playin' cs on and on, all this "biggest scene-my-a.s.s" thing, "cs 4ever" and stuff... i played ns once and it felt stupid. marines? aliens? WTH is that? but still i always liked war3XP plugin for cs, so i decided to give it a try and dl latest ver of ns. it appears that by the last time i played i made full circle and started 2 like it :] graphics feel refreshing compared to de_dust2 and de_aztec 24/7, the story behind a game is fun 2 read for sf geek like me and whole gameplay concept is sth new to learn. it's not easy 4 a beginner though.. but it's complexity may be the secret of the success. take me 4 ex.. i wanted 2 try it, but running around geting killed before i leave my resp is not fun at all. so i go back to www and scan through doc's looking for info. what i'm trying to say is that the game itself is pretty much n00b-proof - you may run arround, but at some point it gets boring and you del it from your hd, or... try to learn more. unlike in cs, which popularity is it's doom, and servers are full of offenders and ppl simply willing to ruin your game or playing only to show whole world they're so pr0 :// playing is 4fun and i think ns got what it takes! and the sweetest thing is that i play for 3 days now, most of the time dunno what's goin' on around and i wasn't flamed at all! even when i incidentally "used" commander chair looking 4 ammo and in panic i didn't noticed "logout" button (LOL) i asked 4 help and someone just told me to push it instead of swearing coz i had enuff time to waste some resources on medipacks <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> well, i remember when i started playing cs about 2 years ago and 1st day i got more flames that i could posiibly imagine Oo

Well firstly, the manual is being remade by the guides (purple iconed guys) which should be out in a month or two.
Secondly, the help ingame by many players is great, as you said. This community helps new players which makes us stronger than alot of mods. Try the Kharra / TSA subforums for tactics and strategies which can improve your game.
If you want a game sometime, i'd be glad to have a game with ya <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
