I am, I love games that have futuristic guns that still fire bullets vs Aliens (example:starcraft, NS, Halo) I have to preorder it though for November 9th
I could tolerate the original Halo up until it got to the flood.. then it just got stupid and i havent played it past that. Meh. I'm going to check out halo 2, just watch it at my friend's house that i know will be playing it.. heh.

Since its Xbox only, no, I won't be getting it. I'll be damned if I'm going to buy an Xbox for the only decent game on the system: Halo. And soon to be Halo 2.
I don't have an XBox at the moment, but I will eventually get one and pick up a copy of Halo 2. The first halo had a solid storyline and good gameplay, and I never really had any problems with it aside from the auto-save feature that would lock me into bad situations on the PC version. I really enjoy online multiplayer games, so the inclusion of XBox Live play will be cool. Of course, the online play won't beat hangin' out with a group of buddies, kickin' eachother's butts until the wee hours of the morning.

here's a fun fact (yes, fact, as in TRUE) about halo 1: the controls and entire scheme was designed from the ground up FOR the console, and it really performs for people who like console gaming.. i'm very into intuitive console gaming, and halo fits the bill entirely.
