OH NO! She works for the RNC, let’s fire here for being politically active instead of being a whiney stay at home mom who most likely knows nothing about politics other then "OH MY GOSH! Bush = teh Evil!!!"

Case closed!
Based on the current information, it doesn't seem to be a knee-jerk frothin' liberal assault based on visuals alone. Actually, it says she skipped a school meeting to work at the RNC. I have no idea how important the meeting was, or whether or not it was mandatory, but that seemed to be the implied complaint. (Of course, were she working the DNC, I'm guessing we'd see some screed here about her dereliction of taxpayer funded duty, but that's just speculation).
She may be innocent, and the charges bogus, but there is also the possibility that she's using her position as teacher as a partisan bully pulpit. A lot of this is hearsay right now, so maybe we should wait before we start assuming about conspiracy theories-- on both sides.

Some people just act like Bush strangled their dog with his bare hands in their back yard one night, this irrational hatred is ridiculous, whether or not you like the man he is president and is to be given the respect that his office holds.

Besides kids in America are dumb as a sack of hammers when it comes to politics, we need more teachers like this. I can't count how many times I have run into people who have no idea what the heck is going on with this country, who the VP is, what Bush looks like, who’s that guy...the black one...Sec. of something....?

You will respect your commander and chief and I would absolutely follow his orders.
However, I also do have a right to diagree with his decisions, do I not? And (at least for me) that has nothing to do with me not respecting the guy. I respect him but I disagree with his choices. Does that make sense?
