    nah a save\load function would be useless because i'm a loser anyways. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    <span style='color:orange'>UltimaGecko reloads the second half of his senior year in high-school endlessly.</span>

    And there's a few fights in there too, so if we've got a couple of save slots, let me save around there too, and find a way to beat up some people just that little bit more.

    ...I wish there was something else I could throw in there...but there's not. December 1st, 2002 - June 7th, 2003. All I need.

    Despite the fact it's not the draw for me:

    You could effectively be immortal until you actually wanted to die (...assuming you get to load after dieing). Although, you'd basically only get to cover so many years of human existence doing so.

    [Groundhog Day rocks...]

    ...<span style='color:orange'>UltimaGecko ponders whether dying or dieing is more appropriate, being as you can physically dye things, but dieing doesn't really fit well with grammar - but the verbs could get confused occasionally...plus the meaning is a bit more clear for non-native speakers...he then decides this probably isn't the best thread for observing linguistics and grammar.</span>

    if life had a save-game feature? ok... well, i think i would probably make a save-game every day, then if i feel i screwed up somewhere, i could go back to it and put it right. Alas, life isn't that simple. Idealistically, I'd rather just play it as it comes, and try and cope with what gets thrown at me.

    I would not want a save function i would just complete the game and thats it

    Ultimate Gecko, personally i would use "dying" for simplicities sake, a lot easier to read, no tricky business with uncomfortable placement of the letters "i"

    quick-save/load feature? hell yeah i'd use that, i just hope there'd be more then one save slot. at least 8-10. save once when your born <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> and use the rest through out life for fun and shennanigans, if you had unlimited save slots, then i'd save every month on a regular basis so if something happens when i was in high-school that affected me in my 40's [ like my gym-teacher coming back from the dead as a zombie and coming to eat me] i could go back and fix it.

    yet another <a href='http://www.lunixmonster.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2130' target='_blank'>reason</a> to use that damn save and load

    =\

    if only it were that easy, but alas it isn't.

    Ehh...I'm not sure that I would use it a lot, but I think that I would use it on some points in my life.

OR end up saving like right before some massive orgasm and going back over and over simply because I can. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Holy crap that happened to me so much in Tomb Raider 1 it's unbelieveable.

    I'd use and abuse it, just like every one else would. What, wrong loto numbers? Hold on a sec I need to load. Say the wrong thing a beautiful woman, load it up. Rape a woman and regret it later? Load it up!

    I don't think I would ever get bored of it. I could live day to day making that day the way I wanted, I would love the ability to do something like that, be it good or evil.. in the end you would have to choose good to continue to the next day without consequences, but the fact that you where able to choose the evil makes it so much sweeter. I don't know how any one could get bored of a power like this. I'd make one day perfect, another day I'd do something else and make that a day where instead of going to work, I'll go around and study the movements of people during that day, perhaps I'd help them if I thought they deserved it. It would be like groundhog day! You could spend your life learning and then rewind to teach, then after teaching some one the masters you know, challange them! There's a multitude of things you could apply that to. Start with Chess, move on to making the fastest cars, then maybe learn how to grow the healthiest strongest plant. Learn with your knowledge how to cure diseases or even make your own unstopable disease.

    Basically, a "quicksave" function... and obviously, load.

    I would kill people. Seriously. When things get bad just quickload. (gotta watch those darn autosaves tho <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    What, kill people until you got 5 stars, then drive around in a tank killing more people until you die or get busted, then repeat endlessly.

    Oh we're not talking about GTA here? Silly me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Groundhog Day is the first thing I thought about when I read this thread. Yay for committing suicide in every way possible!

    It would be fun for a while... but then you'd start to feel guilty. Just because you can undo such horrible things as theft/rape/murder, you still have to live with the fact that you are the sort of person that would do that. Although, it would let you explore every possible outcome of a situation.

    I wouldn't use it for relationships except for initializing them. Because there is absolutely no way your significant other could trust you if you had the ability to move back in time at will.

    I was jk about the killing innocent people stuff, only bad f-ing terrorists. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Hmm, I would definitely become some sort of James Bond like super spy. Whenever I die or if I am about to die the quickload/autoload saves me. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    There is a PA cartoon for pretty much everything. This comic covers things you wish you could take back.

    if you think about going back in time to change what you did before, and you are only a product of your past experiences, then you wouldn't be the person that made those mistakes anymore. and if you weren't the person that made those mistakes, then you wouldn't truly know them to be the mistakes that you know them to be from actually making them. and since you don't know of the mistakes that you made before, and aren't the person that you were before, then who are you?
