As much as I'm voting for Link, to counter all the people saying Link would win hands down, have you completely forgotten the whole Materia side of FFVII? And 4x-Cut 9999 a hit linked to HP Absorb?

Okay, so 4x Cut 9999 gets back a maximum of 255 life... and then Link is revived by a bottlefairy, and tears the hell out of Cloud while he's waiting for his turn to come back around.

5) Cloud can summon, he can ride on Chocobos (Might I also add that he owns a buggy, broken airplane, airship, and submarine?), I've never heard of Cloud's limit break with a gun (thinking of Barret?), and Omnislash owns.
EDIT: Yes, Link has Faries, but they're hard to come by - Cloud has Cure3, and plenty of MP. One Mega Elixer would be enough to last him a half hour at least, provided he doesn't rest between fights.
Yes, Link has an arrow that can be charged with the elements. Cloud has Blot3, Ice3, Demi3, etc...
Yes, Link has a hookshot. It owns incredible amounts of arse.
Yes, Link is the Hero of Time. Did I mention he has a hookshot?

links also got a fairy sword, and a big goron sword, ice light and fire arrows, songs that do stuff, a mirror shield, different tunics that protect vs different elements, bottle fairys and milk, THE TRIFORCE! (i dont care what you say he DOES HAVE the triforce.), gauntlets and stuff... while clouds got a big bird that sits on you, and must take turns and looks like poop.. i hate his haircut.... links got earrings on BOTH EARS hes still a badass... and hes not ooged out by girls...
but megaman wins imo... hes got all sorts of weapons, hes got rush, hes got beat, hes got it all...
