I save enough on paint that I can easily afford a couple grenades or mines. I am devasting in woods where I can pick you off from far away. I'm not to good with using it in close-combat speedball yet but my friend who introduced me to the sport and has same gun can really own.

Thos aren't really that great, are you wanting fast full-auto or accurate semi or stockclass?
Best full-auto:
One of the mini-gun things
or
Angel
Best semi's? Erm. I'm not the expert, my friend is, but I'd recommend a type of semi called an auto-cocker. Either that or for reliable get a Tippman A-5 and put a flatline on it.
Best stockclass, um my gun. A CCI systems custom Phantom. (no hopper, 12g CO) Very light, works and handles something like a cross between a pistol and shotgun. Closed bolt and very accurate (and kinda quite too).

Off topic?
Spyders are good from what i hear, but they leak in cold weather....

Simiar to what I was saying but you elaborated better.
Angel's with a good hopper and the full auto chip can really pwn. But then again you use a whole lot of paint. So it can get costly.
The college student method is the one I've chosen: stockclass. But it's a lot harder and takes corage.
~edit~ I hate word filters.

Their good, but ive heard of a LOT of complaints of the hose leaking. Plus their a wee on the expensive side <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
My friend had one, he went back to his tippmann 98' after a few weeks cause he didnt like it too much. Your best bet is to goto a field and testfiring diffrent guns. Depends the person which gun you like, but the guns everyone have mentioned are all good guns. Just gotta try them for yourself. But i would recommend the tippmann 98' with a cp 1 piece classic barrel. 98's are the most customiable gun to own, plus they break down for repairs easy.
Also, if you can, get yourself a response trigger to go with the Flatline and remote.
In that price range your looking at I'd say you should maybe look at some of the spyders too, they're pretty nice for beginners.

Again i'm not the expert. All I know is it is friggin accurate.
Tippman 98/ 98c
or
Kingman Spyder
Cheap, reliable, and wiith enough upgrades to make either sniper rifles or Automatics out of em. Tippmans are as solid as an anvil, but weigh as much as one, and spyders are light, and loud weith the stock barrel.
for the not as buget minded:
Tippman A5
or
any autococker
The A5's as close as you can get to bringing a mp5k onto the field, the loading system is insanely fast. Autocockers are nice as well, good amount of upgrades avalibler and accurate (as long as you get a good bore- paint size)
for the "Uncle Donald Trump just gave me all my back gift money with 200% intrest" minded
do a search for "Real Action marker"

That will most likey have the information you require. I sugjest though, if you're new to the game, get a starter gun, Spyder makes some good ones. If you're a serious player and want the serious gear, you're going to need to shell out some money.
(First post only no infernos)
If you play airball, you're going to want a more "pro" gun; starting at a vision impy, and up to a Intimidator.
If you're new to the game, i'm assuing you'd be playing bushball, if so, I would buy say a tippmann 98; as they're very reliable, or a spyder e-marker.
www.conderspaintball.com if you dont know where it is.
I'll be there
Plenty of people use all types of markers for woodsball and speedball, you don't have to have a high end marker to play speedball but of course it does help.

<b>Day 1: 2004 PSP Open.</b>
Guy1: Did you see the opening game earlier?

you know not of what you speak. Angels are highly over rated. And everyone has forgotten about bushmasters. PDS B2k3s are going for about 3-400 which is increadibly cheap. Also, if you're playing bushball, I'd go with a cocker. I love cockers because they have an endless number of upgrades so there's always room for improvement and they'll always outperform 98's.
Oh yeah and on that quote...my dm4 will rock your 98 to hell and back.
