Internet Explorer Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">pop-up</div> My dad brought home his work computer which is running Windows 200 with service pack 4. When he tries logging onto his works website, it has to load up in a new window.

An error message comes up saying that you need to disable it by going to Tools>Pop-Up Blocker> (disable), but there isn't even a tab for pop up blocker underneath tools. I'm assuming that this pop-up blocker is made into internet explorer with a service pack or something. Anyways, I googled like a mother and found NOTHING.

I even went to online support for earthlink (my ISP), and they didn't have a clue. Has anyone had this problem, how did you fix it? It's pretty important, so any help would be great. Thanks.

(btw : I scanned for viruses and spyware. Nothing. It has to be a IE plugin or something)

That's part of SP2. According to the Windows site, there should be a popup blocker setting option under Tools. From there it should be easy to fix. If there isn't anything about popup blockers under tools, then I have no idea what it is. I would say it's time for a different browser at that point.

This has been said many many times, mainly because it's true. Go and download Mozilla or Opera. Personally, I prefer Mozilla, but it's a matter of preference. You'll be doing your dad a favor.
