there, where you want the sky apply the "sky" texture on the whole brush. you can find it in the halflife.wad. Then in Hammer you go to the menu "Map" -> "Map properties.." and there you vcan find an entry called "environment map (cl_skyname)". There is where the skyname goes into. For determining the skyname, go to your ns directory and then gfx/env/ there you find 6 tgas files for each sky. Take one of the 6 files filenames, e.g. "altairbk.tga" and write that one in the "environment map (cl_skyname)" field. Now remove the ending and the last two characters so in this case only "altair" (without the "") would be in the field, and you're done.
speaking of sky textures, how would I go about adding my own sky texture to a map? I have the texture and all, but how to get it to work? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
In Hammer, go here: Map -> Map properties -> enviorment map (cl_skyname) If the sky you want to use has the name "eclipse_bk.tga" just type eclipse_ in the box.

That wad contains sky, along with clip and origin.
